Protective Life Insurance Reveals Electronic Policy Delivery [PL]

Insurance and investment products provider Protective Life Insurance Co., a unit of Protective Life Insurance Corp. (PL) on Thursday announced that it introduced electronic policy delivery for its producers and policy owners, which will enable speedy delivery and enhance customer convenience. The Birmingham, Alabama-based company stated that the electronic policy delivery offers its customers online delivery of life insurance policies and related documents. This makes an easy and quick delivery of the policy and customers can securely review and download their policy at any time.

Carolyn Johnson, executive vice president and chief operating officer said, “Protective is dedicated to enhancing the customer experience of its producers and policy owners. Our innovative approach to policy delivery offers our life insurance customers state of the art efficiency.”

PL closed Thursday's regular trading at $41.87, up $0.29 or 0.70%, on a volume of 214 thousand shares. In after hours, the stock lost $0.07 or 0.16% and traded at $41.80.
