Nico Life trains sales agents
9th May, 2008
NICO Life Insurance Limited has organised a two day training seminar for sales agents to boost their productivity.
Nico Life Insurance General Manager Stain Singo, in his opening remarks Thursday at Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre, said the training is targeting people to recommend Nico’s products after use.
“The referrals are when the agents use a person who has already bought the product and has seen the benefits of it. This helps the agents to get more customers,” he said.
This years training which is under the theme: “referrals key to increasing your commission earnings”, according to Singo will enable Malawians to purchase life insurance policies.
“More Malawians will benefit from the life policy in the event that the bread winner dies, and the other members will benefit from the policy cover if they purchase the Nico life insurance policy,” he said.
The training which has attracted more than 35 agents is being facilitated by a Hungarian Eric Vos.
“We have engaged an international trainer to motivate and encourage the agents so that they should be able to face and coax more customers,” Singo said.
He further said he was optimistic that the agents will be transformed and the training will open a new chapter in their life insurance sales career.
